better lows in same box...rl-p or type x?

i have a 2 cube tuned to 28hz. 1000 watts rms to give. i currently have a rl-p in this setup. will Alpine type x do better on the lows or will the rl-p due to a higher sensitivity?

That is a good sized box for a RL-p but I think that the Alpine might "see" it as a bigger box and could have more low end. You would have to do some searches on ppl that have used the type x.
