Probably going to stick with a 500 RMS amp ran @ 1 ohm.

So you need two d4 or d1 speakers, or a single d2.

An re se 15 d2 in a ported enclosure may work out for you,

Well its going in an 08 civic, so I dont know if a single 15 ported will fit in the trunk, plus i dont want to take up all the room. More so just looking for a good system that i will not have to upgrade electronic system of the car. Plus trying to stick with local dealers. So i dont know if there is a RE dealer around southern illinois

Your right about the space concerns, but to heck with local shops, you have great box building forum members local to you I believe. There are lots of good internet only sub manufactures you are excluding.

Yeah i know what your saying, but im just very IFy about buying online. Plus alot of the internet based subs look an awful like alike. Almost like they bought there baskets from a wholesaler or something. Im not to impressed with that.

I have a 15" Nightshade in about 4 cubes ported in my '06 Civic...you have plenty of room in there. Only electrical upgrades I have are a bigger battery (group 34) and big 3 on 1500 watts. Before I did any upgrades, I was running 1000 watts and the car's stock electrical did just fine.
