better h/u better sounding speakers?

say u had 2 alpine h/u they r both 50x4 and like 23x4 rms, but one was newer than the other, would newer one like put out cleaner watt to the speakers or something and make them sound better or is it the same?

No. A watt is a watt. Newer one may have other, newer features.
