Better Components??

Hard to say if it is worth it to you. For me, I'd put the extra

money towards the alpines because I like the tweeters (on axis)

and the crossovers are very flexible.

If you can't run on axis with the tweeters, domes (ID) may sound just as

good or better. If you don't care about the crossover features, that's another

factor. You may want to download the alpine manual and take a read. The ID's

are straight forward, no reading required:)

Yeah, I have seen good reviews on both comps. It's really too bad I can't have a listen to both of them. Good choice it seems either way. I guess I am trying to justify spending the extra cash. Maybe the extra money would be better served in another area.

Thanks, those I think are going to be my choice. Woofersect is a authorized internet dealer. Should be quite a treat to have those puppies barking out nice sound quality.
I have the CTX65CS's in my doors and am getting GREAT sound out of them, I had about $300 to spend but because of the reviews I read on them I decided to purchase them instead of going with a higher priced comp set. I have them running off of an Orion XTR375 sending about 125RMS per channel. They take the power like a champ.
