better amp for the moeny

I have never heard of that company before, the MTX is the better choice, please dont be swayed by ditto

Well i havent bought an amp yet i sell have around 14-16 days worth of research to do til i get my amp money. I know this sounds stupid to most of you, but im just trying to get most information i can about said products before i spend my wad on them. thanks in advance for advice. .

dude thats not right - lol, research is the best way to go and the ONLY way to learn short of buying all kinds of stuff, and taking it back after it blows up

The interfire is certainly a powerful amp. There is a nice review on it at http://www.carsound.com , but keep in mind it's not class D and if you plan on bangin' a lot it will be a bit more of a hit to your battery and alternator than a class D of similar power. Then again, if the other option is a 1500 watt mtx, then current demand would probably be pretty similar.

FWIW, I think the Lanzar would be a great amp for the cost. I owned one of the older black Vibe 1200D's. However, I should probably mention it's predecessor a few models back had some reliability issues that Lanzar couldn't deny, but claims to have gotten ironed out.

I used to use an 801d and just purchased a 1501d, i but just about alpine everything, but i always am happy with mtx amps. my first amp ever 6 years ago or so was an mtx. As far as people blowing them, are they trying to run 1 ohm loads or something or is this under normal use. Ive known people that could kill any product, because they want to "tweak it" hell im sure ive been guilty of abusing amps and woofers in the past.

i've had exeperience to verify what ditto is saying. mtx amps burn out alot. they start clipping and usually blow a channel after alittle abuse or continusous use. i'm not saying they are a bad company or anything, i just personally wouldnt use their amps.
