best way to solder ring terminals!!

what is the best way to solder ring temrinal on 1/0 gauge!!!

should i put the flux on the ring terminal crimp it then heat it up and applie solder or what???

If you crimp it correctly, it shouldn't "fall" off.

crimp then solder

but it isn't really necessary to solder. you shouldn't use solder as a way to hold it in place. it's a weak bond. crunching it in a vise should be more than enough to hold it.

Those are yummy crimpers.... I had the crimpers that you hit with a hammer, they were great aswell.
