although i have had many setups over the years, i have never ran an active setup before and im debating whether or not with the equipment i have if it would be the best option for me. my equipment is as follows:

alpine cda-9835

ID CTX65cs comps, 100wrms 200 peak

eclipse pa-5422 4 ch amp (85x4 @ 4, 120 x 4 @ 2, 240x2@4 bridged)

2 sundown e8 subs

sub amp to be determined

active. tweets off HU

bridge mid to 4 channel

learn how to tune/decide for yourself.
so you are saying, run the tweets off the HU using the hu's processing xover and forget about the passive xover. then bridge each mid to essentially make the amp a 2 channel amp, giving each mid 240? tune through HU and good to go?
