Best way to make a hole...

I used a step bit for my holes
those are what i allways end up useing.

I got 4 runs of 1/0 and a run of 2ga under my carpet
niiiiice..

just start drilling somewhere...odds are you'll miss anything important....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Step one look under the hood see if there is a blank grommet that you can run it threw I have found a few that worked perfectly.

Step two if there is a grommet locate the location inside the vehicle and than remote the grommet and drill a hole a tad smaller than the wire.

Step three run wire threw.

If there is not a grommet do the fallowing.

Step one lactate a clear lactation of both sides of the fire wall that does not have anything that may be damaged.

Step two take a drill bit that is not much bigger than the wire and drill into the fire wire. Make sure so drill slowly and do not force the drilling. Let the drill do the drilling.

Step three after drilling the hole into the fire wall take a dremel with a stone bit and clean up all around the edges to smooth down anything that is sharp. A file works well to.

Step four before sliding the wire into the hole slide a rubber grommet over it that will fit into the hole they sell them at a boating supply place.

Step five depending on the gap between the wire and the grommet I sometimes use silicon caulk to seal the gap after running the wire.

Hope this helps you out.

There arent any open grommets. Also, i cant even find a clear spot big enough to run 4 holes for 2/0.
