Hey guys it turns out my main 4gauge cable is too short after I needed to cut a piece off. I order about 5 more feet of it now my qustiion is which way is the best to join them? Just twisting the wires is enough?

this is a thought i've had, i've never tried it and don't know how well it'd work but it's worth a try: crimp a ring terminal to both ends of the wire and then use a nut and bolt to attach the 2 rings together, then use heat shrink tubing or something to cover up the connection

if someone could say if this would work or not that'd be great

i would just get another fuse box(like the one next to the battery), that is if u have room for it were the wire is split....nice n semi clean lookin

or you could just add a fuse connection :-/ its the way you connect the same wire to itself where you need the real fuse.

And i dont know of any problems of adding a second fuse farther down the wire either.

I would not wrap the wires together. Go get another fuse block, or a terminal block and do it that way. Do not scrimp, or you might not like the results.
