Best way to connect tinsel leads to coil?

I've reconed before but most of the recones were 90% finished and all I needed to do was drop it in.

I've seen coils with regular wire that connects to the leads, but I haven't seen flat wire...

Not 100% sure on whats the correct way to go about connecting the flat wire to the tinsel leads.

First time building a full recone instead of buying a drop in kit so I'm a little nervous ill mess it up.
