Best way to configure this system?

No that is not what was said.
Running the sub off 2 channels and running either the rear (not my first choice) or front speakers off the other 2 channels.

I guess based on your situation (having 2 small drivers in the front center area) I might try amping the rear louder speakers and running the front center off the head unit.

that is not the proper way to do it but there were lots of cars back in the day that just ran 6x9's on the rear deck. And I guess since you have such an old school car an old school setup would work out.
This is basically what im saying...

there is no point runnin his low wattage speakers with and amp and the running his component set off of 16 measly watts

wire the head units front speaker wires to the front two 4" 45w rms fosgates (giving the front speakers each 16w rms)

your amp is has 4/3/2 operation you will be using 3

channel 1 one side of the components

channel 2 the other side of components

channels 3&4 bridged for sub

SC4 is correct in what he is saying! 16w will not be sufficient to power the set of Hertz Components in the rear package shelf! They are rated at (125w rms) The two 4 inch coax that have been installed in the center dash location could be powered by the head unit but will be drowned out unless they recieve additional power from an additional amp.

The suggestion makes sense with the present components but it appears that i would be better off to purchase another Seperate amp. Ideally a seperate amp for the subwoofer . this would permit the 4 channel amp to run the components in the rear and power the coaxial that are in the center dash with the gain turned down on these (being the 4 inch Coaxial) Seems a waist but later on if i can figure out a way to add/fit a 5" or 6" inch slim speaker up front without butchering panels things would be ideal.

personally i would run the speakers off the 4 chan amp, and buy another mono amplifier for the woofers, also look to see if there is a way you can get bigger speakers up front either way should sound good.

Ok so what suggestions would you have for an amp to run this sub db1040 DVC. Again the rms is only 275w with a total peak of 580w.I have read that a Dual voice coil sub is best to run off a mono amp rather than a two channel amp in order to save money by running a two channel amp?

Secondly: I have 4 gauge wire run to the trunk to power the existing Quart Q.150.4 Am i safe to just add a junction and run the second amp off this 4 gauge power wire or should i pull a second 4 gauge wire in from the battery for this second amp? Any down side to using the same power wire for both amps?

Thirdly: I have fused the 4 ga power wire at the battery with a 150 amp fuse based on the MB Quart Q150.4 amp as it has TWO 70 amp fuses in the back. Am i correct that i add these up giving a total of 140 and add a little extra which is why i have it fused at 150 amp. I was not sure if i only needed to count it as 70 amp and fuse for 70 amp as apposed to 2x70= 140 as i have done.

Fourthly: The Quart Q150.4 if i am not mistaken draws only 27-30 amps from the ALTERNATOR. Does that sound about right in your books? I have a 120amp alternator so need to know if it is sufficient to handle this amp and also the new mono amp i need to purchase. I suspect the mono amp should not pull more than 50a from the alternator? Just getting an idea on if i am looking at going to a high amp alternator by adding a mono amp.
