Call and tell them your phone doesn't work, and are waiting for the repairman to arrive. This way you can take tomorrow off too, just dont call in at all. On the third day when you go in you can say "see what I mean?".

you are shit out of luck, most likely if you call in sick on a day you requested but was denied you're at a high chance of getting chewed out for it.

that's why i don't ask for days off and call in sick. rather use my sick leave instead of my annual leave for little 1 days.
