With 450$ you don't exactly have to go cheap. I got my 12" for 23$ shipped lol. With that kinda money you could probably get something really nice. What do you want? Loud? Quality? How much space do you have to work with? Any other specifications?

people on here might laugh but i just bought 2 12" infinity reference 1240w's from crutchfield and put them in my ported box and they slam in my accord......

I have a friend that has two 12" Kicker Comp VR's in a decent ported box I built, with 600w runnin to 'em and let me tell ya - they suprised the HELL outta me.

I think two Kicker Comp VR 12's in a box would be great

Maybe match them up on a JBL600.1 or something to that extent?

Laugh? Infinity's Reference line is a very good budget sub line; a pair of those 12's would be great for a first set up.

I also second the new amp reccomendation...
