Best subs for this amp?

I'm wondering what are the best subs for this amp. (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9171_SPL+FX2-2600.html)

# RMS Power Rating:

* 4 ohms: 450 watts x 2 chan.

* 2 ohms: 540 watts x 2 chan.

* Bridged, @ 4 ohms: 1080 watts x 1 chan

If i get a pair of Kicker solo-baric subs (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_11356_Kicker+Solo-Baric+L5+Series+08S12L52.html) they're 600 rms each, would under powering them by 60 watts make them sound bad? since the subs will be 600 and my amp will only be able to run 2 subs at 540 each. I'm currently using a pair of Pioneer premier subs ts-w126c 400 rms each with that amp.. I wanna get something a little better..

i sell the L7 subs for 280 shipped each or 500 for a pair for the L7 series 2008 model ( newest ) but good luck with that amp pushing anywhere close to 1000 rms true power.

I do agree about the power rating, but 90amps of fusing should allow it to if it can.

What are you looking for, loudest subs for that amount of power or what? and how much you looking to spend? And L7's? come on man, lol. As for subs, check out the AudioQue SDC 2.5 12's would match up very nicely and sound great as well as get stupid loud from that amount of power. My mod 2 meca car running a single SDC 2.5 12 managed 145.2dB at the headrest at 34Hz. they're only $139 too by the way and dual 4's to match the amp perfectly. Under powering your subs wont make them sound bad, but it will give more chance of a clipped signal making it to them before they reach their potential! give DJ a call, they are great to work with, while im thinking about it, Audioque is ran by the father of the guy who owns DD, they share build houses and often parts.

get two re se's 15's or 12's. they will **** with that power.
