I have a regular cab GMC and I am looking for the best subs and amp to put in it.

I want my seat to go all the way back and I would prefer the subs to be 12'' but they dont have to be.

I am looking for mostly SPL but still would like some SQ, i want to set off other cars alarms with these

Could someone tell me what would be the best setup to do this for around $600

For one if you want to set alarms off you have are dumb. There is no need to play subs all the way up in towns and what not. But if your just talking about you want something loud then your not going to get much for $600.

a pair of memphis pr 10's...a ported box and a memphis pr500d..

maybe not alarm loud...but it'll hurt ur ears

i'd like to see someone do that properly (and by properly i mean adequate box volume and port area) in a reg cab gmc. not a whole lotta room back there if he wants ample legroom.

few suggestions...

1 13kv2 ported

2 13kv2 sealed

2 re re12s sealed

1 re re12 ported

memphis pr 10's only need 1ft^3 to port and only need 6in^2 of port volume.

using 1/2" mdf(or 5/8") building a 2ft^3 net enclosure isn't going to be that hard. as a matter of fact, they get quite loud in .88ft^3 ported..same port area.

how do i know? because i've ran a single pr 10 in about .9-1ft^3 with 6in^2 of port in my x-cab silverado off just 70wrms and most people thought i had 2 subs and 250 watts.

it's not hard to do, u just gotta know the product.
