best sub ?

I want some ideas for a subwoofer. I own a 94 honda accord lx coupe. I am wanting a sub(or two) that will hit loud and hard but also he able to keep up with heavy metal while not making the quality too bad. And also something that would fit in the trunk. If people could possibly list some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Im also in need of a head unit, nothing fancy just needing the aux chord plug in really

Budget for sub and amp? How much room do you want to give up in the trunk?

That^^^ all depends on how deep your pockets are and how much trunk your willing to give up.

i'm willing to give up all the space in the trunk. And for budget, about a grand or 2. Im just trying to mainly get ideas so after i get it running i can start putting my money into the sound system

grab some tape measurements and get the max Length, width and height you can sacrifice, then we'll see what kind of enclosure we can put in there then we'll see what kind of sub will work well in that enclosure. Make sure to leave some room between the sub and the trunk lid so it can breathe.

The bass game is not, "Oh let me squeeze two 12s in a random tiny box in my trunk and it'll BEAT!" space makes bass. The enclosure determines most of your sound output and sound quality.

i don't know if the trunk size or style changed between 94 and 98 but i just got thru building one in the trunk of my 98 accord coupe. 16.5"h x35.5"w x26.5" d sub and port facing cabin. that's pretty much all u can fit in a accord. this is good for 2 12s , or 1 beefy *** 15. shout out to @mylows10 ; on this monster box design.
