The FI-x does sound like a deal...how do the tc-1000 hold up?

what about 2 assasins?

or the Aq SD212 or maybe even the aq SD2.512?

I dont have an experience with the tc subs, but I have heard bad things about them holding up, better off asking someone who have dealt with them, the assasins do well also in small enclosures, and I have a aq hd2.5 15 that really gets low, just requires the space and power, the aqs will handle more then rated power as well, just know what your doing, and DJ from AQ is a great guy for all kinds of help, all in all scott from FI is a great guy, same as dj from aq its basically your choice

right now..im lookin for 2 good subs for the back of my mustang. 12' perferable but im thinkin 10' might do if im tryin to do ported. i was going with 2 jl w3v3 with a 500/1 amp. or maby a class D alpine but its a bit pricy? what are other good subs out there than can produce same 300 rms but are cheaper than jl?

thanx...im lookin into the tc-1000. and the Fi-x. i know these are probably the lower power subs these two co. make but they are equal to jl w3? The Tc sounds nice..especiall becuase thats my name. nice show case...im having trouble finding these subs on ebay tho.

Well you definately wont be disappointed in the tc-1000's I have 2 tc2+ 12"'s which was before the 1000, and they sounds great and get pretty low and loud. TC sounds just released the 12" db500 which is very similar to my tc2+, for only $135, and it handle 400wrms. http://www.tcsounds.com. Check them out, b/c you wont find them on ebay, I've looked

Bottom line is what do you actually want to spend, do you want to go the cheap route, or do you want overall satisfaction. All these subs are going to give you a good output with little power, I think any sub you choose your going to be satisfied, until your used to it and need an upgrade...lol thats when you know your addicted.

TC sounds holds up very well, there customer service is excellent in my experiences, and they sound excellent. They are the buildhouse for some mainstream companys such as eclipse. I havent heard anyone personally who has had a problem with them

my upgrade is from 2 rockford punch type he in an enclosed angled box...i mean it hit hard...and it only handled 200 rms each...pushed by a "VISONIK 800W" so i know my rms couldnt be more than 400..it might of went well below 300. but it sounded nice. im just lookin for overall satisfaction goin toward a cheaper route..so a lil of both. i am really eying the Fi-x or the tc-1000...even the new db 500 and the DD1000a like said...but taking the fact that my mustang trunk is small...so i dont have alot of room for a big box.

some guy at this stereo place said not to even try ported in a mustang...not enough room for airspace...but idk if he knew what he was talkin about.

and who are these guys i can Call? or ask about these specific subs?

lol the pups 15$ each...jess runs DD, Dj runs aq (they are family), scott runs Fi. Saying you cant go ported in a mustang LOL I did 4cubes ported at 36 hz with a pair of FI X 12s run off a power bass asa 1000 in my sisters 99' mustang and it WANGS!

yeah u can get a decent amount of space to go ported. 2 dd1012a in 3.5@38hz and that will sound good and be loud. give them a good 800-1000 clean wrms and bump away.
