Best Sub Setup For 98 Civic Hatch

Trunk space isn't an issue. I want good CLEAN bass that will get loud and low. I listen to some rap, hip-hop, rock and roll, and some country. I would like to stay under $500 for the subs and then I'll have to find an amp to run them. Suggestions please?
