Best sub for quick/punchy bass?

Whats up? I'm looking to put ONE sub in my 97' Camaro for quick/punchy bass. Of course quick/punchy doesn't mean soft, i still want you to feel the music through your body just not have the lag of long lows, especially because I usually just listen to rock. I have a PG zx600ti amp and currently I have a 10" audiobahn eternal sub(awes10p) If this sub sux or you have better recommendation, let me know. I just ordered a 860 and will be installing the sub when that gets here. Thanks!!!

The enclosure alignment is going to play a large role in the sub sounding "quick and punchy"...

stead of getting a sub, why not get some dedicated midbass and an active crossover?

enclosure..like jack mentioned, is the solution to ur question....

probably something sealed..probably, i say probably because i have zero experience with the 'bahn u have, a box in the neighborhood of .6ft-1ft^3 NET
