i know it is quite a bit better than the rf shallow i have heard them both side by side in spec boxes i have no clue on the ed 11kv.2 tho too be honest.

anyone heard the Ed and rlp side by side?

i dont know much about the shallow mounts but im guessing they lack behind a regular sized sub

only needs a .3 box, .5 is ideal. i got .59

is that a 10, 11, or 12 inch? im pretty sure its 12 but it does not really specify.

i have heard good things about ed, and i heard this sub is great sound quality and will get about the loudest out of any without losing the quality.

just found out the ed i am talking about is a 10". personally i would just assume go with id8, l5 8, or the rf shallow 12, mb quart shallow 12.

whish it was hands down XXX sub is best for the space i got, no questions asked lol

Im happy with the couple of RE SL subs I've heard, their some of the best shallow mount subs I've heard. Much better than the P3S, imo

I was just in a similar situation. I needed something shallow yet kept the SQ sound of my IDQ's. I went with the new Polk MM's, with less than 4 inches of mounting depth. They sound amazing and right on par with the IDQ's. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.
