best sub 5" and under mounting depth

title says it all. finally got boxes built and i have max of 5" mounting depth, .6 cubic foot per sub.

Rockford Fosgate Punch P3SD412 Shallow-mount

looks good to me, 12 inches, 400rms

but im guessing there is better?

is dd for ported boxes? i forgot to mention my boxes are sealed, and if anyone cares to also mention what amp to use, or amp brands.

also why would rlp304 mbquart (300rms, 9mm xmax) be better than a RF p3 shallow 12(400rms, 10.8mm xmax) ???

i carry alot of brands and sell to forum members cheap the dsc mbquart amps are a forum boner //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but any decent amp like aq ect will be just fine. if you do the dd dont cheap out on the amp get a good amp.

if you know anything about mbquart subs you know they are grossly under rated and have some amazing sq especially in small sealed enclosure ( .50 -.75) gross!!! while still keeping a good bottom end extension. xmax doesnt say anything as far as how good a sub is. ask around they are 1 of the best shallow subs around in their class.

a dd would be a good choice as well .

The SI BM V2 should be an amazing sub, definitely one you should keep on your radar, if you can wait a few months.

and as you can see in the video it has more than 9mm excursion lol trust me they **** hard for a shallow

and they will take 450-600 rms easily everything mbquart is very very under rated.

i run 90-120 rms to the formula components that is rated at 40 rms lolz
