Just cause its built to spec does not mean it automaticaly will sound right. Every driver is a little different even if its the same brand/model.

I doubt if the differences will be noticeable, especially in a car environment. But of course it doesn't hurt to do so.

I got a room full of subs and have installed more brands than I care to

remember and I would put a JBL Wgti sub up against anything for tight

detailed sound...

they are fukin sick tight in a ported enclosure on a Crown amp
