my fault....for some reason i only thought the 600.1 was 2 ohm stable....i didn't think it was 1 ohm stable. my 1200.1 never overheated at 1 ohm...so maybe theres somethin wrong with yours.

oh.. no i dont even have a jbl amp i just heard from some people on this board before that they get hot at 1 ohm.. i think any amp working at 1 ohm will get hot with enough play time.. My amp is running at 1.3 ohms and its supposed to not run below 2 and it runs just fine... but then again i havent played my music for hours straight... Doing that will make any amp start getting hot just about

All amps get hot at 1ohm, they are working hard as heIl. I run my jbl 1200.1at 1ohm it does get hot but it dosent shut off.

Man orion amps do get hot, but i havent seen any clip, that kid in the install section with the camaro and the hcca wall, he has 2 XTRPRO2400 and they get **** hot but I havent seen them clip at all.
