Best set of speakers for an eclipse

Hey i can change this
Ive got a 97 eclipse and i want to put a really nice system in it. It uses 6.5"s in the front and 6x9"s in the rear. I Already have a nice alpine head unit. I plan on doing 4 new speakers, amplify them, and do a single w10gti sub with a nice amp. Currently i have 4 memphis speakers that are not amplified because my idiot friend spilled water on my 4 channel, and a 12" type r with an alpine mpr650 amp.

HELP ME.lol. I really want a nice sounding system.

Alpine Type S for real budget

Type R's with a good amp sound good

Infinity REF-

Kappa

Kappa Perfects

Polk's are nice

Roackford has good budget speakers

Pioneer PRS comps with Pioneer REVs in the rear would be nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

MB Quart PCE-216 [ maybe QSD-216 ] + a 6x9 coaxial would be nice as well

Rainbow SLC-265s + a 6x9 coaxial [ maybe CMXs ]

Thats just a few combos

Or you can just go w/o rears, and just run a frontstage...

well if that budget only allows for type S's, then lets up the budget.lol

edit: so the memphis speakers arnt even worth using?lol

I drive a 98 chrysler sebring which is pretty much a 98 eclipse since mitisbishi makes the car and my interior is exactly the same as a 98 eclipse down to both cars having factory inifinity shit with Mitisbihshi logos on the back of the speakers. I was running the front stage in my sig but I'm upgrading soon to Seas nextel 7" woofers and some seas excel tweets and going active with a sick Merlin 4 channel. I find that having good pair of woofers and tweeters for the front stage is more than enough. I don't even miss having 6 x 9s especially with the subs I have providing more than enough for what I need. The only thing I feel a rear fill without time alignment would do is throw my sound stage completely off. If u want to set it and forget it though and run a nice set of componet speakers with passive crossovers I'd probably recommend some Rainbow 265 SLC kicks. Or u could really be vicious since you have a $500 budget and get some Rainbow Profis since it should demolish any set of 6.5 & 6x9 setup that I can think of for that price range. Don't forget the sound deadning because our cars are rattle boxes hehe.

I keep hearing good things about the Phoenix Gold Rsd's. I plan on getting a set for myself here pretty soon. Get em for around $90 shipped on ebay or $129 from an authorized dealer.
