I don know much bout audio systems but i enjoy some bass in my car.
Had a question about my car and my system.
Drving 96 mustang.
Had 2 12's magnum (500Rms) and 1 L5 (450 Rms) running on 4 Channel 600w Xplod amp.
I was told here that its lame too run diff sizes of subs and that sony 600w was just 200w RMS and that i was starving my L5.
So i took out 2 12's and sony amp. Got Fosgate 400.2 - and running it bridged on L5.
Strange enough but sounds worse. Front speaker bumos not clearly and rear one distorts so bad that cant even turn the volume half.
i think this happens Mainly coz i upgraded my deck to pioneer 5800mp from kenwood plane cd player and now pioneer is killing my crappy door speakers with its internal mosfet amp.
yeah that market ford speaker--sh*tty.
Also my right door and right rear speaker is blown.
What should i do?
i thought of takin out workin rear and putting it to the front right door and buying a pair of 2-way kicker ks68 speakers and putting them in the back. or shud i put kickers to the fron doors? Connecting all 4 speakers to sony 4 channel amp (or maybe keep running without it) and leave my L5 with fosgate like it is in the trunk. (in the future wanna get 12 L7 and run it on kicker mono amp 750).
What do u guys think?
