Best option for extended cab silverado

I'll be putting an Fi Q12 in my extended cab silverado with this box...

My question is, would the port be better off facing the drivers door rather than towards the pass seat?

do not do a prefab box, unless it's sealed. beware of any prefab ported.

Mounting depth on that box is 7". Fi 12Q's is exactly 7", plus it would need a larger box.

I'd go with the Fi 10"Q.

The place that makes those boxes is close to where I live. I have asked him about the 7" mounting depth and he said he can squeeze a little more. As far as ported, they make the port to your specs. 1.7 isn't going to be enough for the Q12?

that would be enough space for the Q. tuning the box low enough for a Q, in that box, using an aero port, makes me suspect that the box is tuned fairly high.

With a 4" port I believe it should be around 22" to get it tuned to ~30Hz. He said that would be no problem.
