Best/loudest 10" sub to fit under 6.5" in depth

I put a vote in for the SSA Gcon.

whats the mounting depth of the gcon because he has only 6.25 mounting depth avail if he is getting the fox acoustics box

Humm, ok, it is very tight then for the Gcon.

i have used the foxbox for the nbs chevy crew cab and another issue i ran into was subs with a large surround have a tendency to get muffled because of floor to baffle clearance. that was with fi ssd 10's. i did get another 3/4" mounting depth out of my box by removing the plastic extensions on the back and glueing an 3/4 piece of mdf between that and the box.

2 of these would also get really loud on your amp in the dual box and would fit perfectly with the 5.7 inch depth

yeah i agree i looked at the site at his particular enclosure and it recommends alpine type r's i tried these also and had to do quite a bit of modifying to make those fit.
