If I did the above method, and hook the processor up via ai-net to the 9857, how will I control the volume? Through the HU, or the processor? I was hoping to hide the processor screen out of sight, and only use it when I feel the need to tweak my system, and control the volume and iPod through the HU. Is that how it will work or will the volume be controlled through the processor?
Sorry for all the questions and the newbness, but I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before making a purchase. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
Edit- nevermind, I just downloaded the h510 manual to read up on it, and it states "Adjusting the volume,
fader, balance and subwoofer
When using the Ai-NET connection, adjust the
volume/balance/fader control from the head
unit. (Not allowed from the PXA-H510.) Adjust
the subwoofer control from the PXA-H510."
So by this, I will be able to hids the face away, but still in a reachable place, and control the usual things, such as my iPod, cds, radio, volume, throught the HU.
