Best iPod ready Alpine HU?

The CDA-9856 is an inexpensive top quality wonderful ipod friendly head unit. I have one myself and it works very well. Just my advice though.

i think the new dva-9861 has full processor control... its got the dvd player/optical out, 24 bit d/a, and all that... a good bit more expensive tho so i dont know if that would be a cheaper option
