Best H/U to control H701

I don't have W505 money, so I was hoping for some input. I am looking at the W200, the D100, D300, D310, and D900. I found they were released between 2005 (D300) and 2008 (D310). Just wanted some input, as none of them fit my car per crutchfield, so since I will have to do some custom work anyways, wanted to know opinions on which was best for controlling the H701 or if they were all formatted the same.

Any one of the DVD HU's will control it rather easily. I used the W200 and it was pretty simple but I also had the C701 and it was a lot easier to use. The single din units I heard are a little more difficult to control.

Sounds like a good deal. I will think pretty hard about that and get back with you.

Yeah, it seems like the C701 would be easier, but I also have a sony H/U right now, and would want to get a matching alpine to keep the signal digital until the processor, so I would be spending nearly as much on the C701+Alpline H/U as I would one of these options, and while I don't care much about DVD in my car, if I could get it for "free" it would be nice.
