Granted I haven't listened to tons of components, but my favorite so far is the RS Comp series 6.5", I haven't gotten to hear the more expensive versions yet.

I don't know what the "best" are, but i've heard CDT's, ScanSpeak's, and Infiniti Kappa's; they are all nic speackers (Infiniti being on the bottom of this list for sure).
