best combo frosub and amp

i have a ppi 500/1 and a 8w7 im ditching the 8 because i want a 12" i was offered a w6v2 for trade and i was lookin at the mtx 8500 im looking for good sq as well as spl what would be and ideal set up for my amp????

w6v2; IMO one of the best drivers JL has put out...

thats what i hear . i have a 8w7 right now but i want to go to a 12. the 8 has amazing sq but i want a little more spl.
