If you are smart and do some research you can get the Service Codes to access the Locked Service menu in your TV's almost every TV that has a remote has these hidden options.
I used to fix my old NEC rear projection screen when it lost lens calibration, Yes there are some option on tv's to adjust them but these service menus get down to the pin point calibrations no just turning a dial or knob.
.. NOTE you have to have the original remote to access these hidden menus, Universal remotes do not work.
This is a site that tells you how to do it. Mind you if you have no Idea what the hell you are doing do not attempt this you will screw up your set. http://www.artofhacking.com/files/TVMODES.TXT
I used another site but this one is pretty much the same deal.
