Best Buy Humor :)

I don't think I've ever had one intelligent customer come into my circuit city... then again i'm always in the back and not on the floor.
But when I'm on the floor and we get the 13year old thugs who bring their own music and decide to go play in the thump room, you better believe the breaker gets flipped... i love saying "ohh the batteries must have died".
The arse hat salesmen here only play crap . I brought the Chesky Sampler to check out the cd 7000 . And the guy wouldn't let me play it . He insisted on using his disc of rap after the 10 minute speal about how the Jensen flip out had a much better sound . So I said sure throw it in , as he went to get it I left //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

haha.. when i first started at this store tehy had ****ing handles over all the cdplayers so people couldn't play their own cds/steal faceplates.

When I sell shit I usually encourage them to bring their own cds... god knows my music taste probably isn't the same as many.

Haha yeah have to love the circuit city and best buy fuk ups lol. the best buy buy me this guy was like yeah Dual's are really good man probably better then what your bumping now and i just said to em i was like yeah thats funny he was like what is i said what you said you don't have the amp even tuned right for customers to actually hear the sub and Duals just **** anyways and the music you guy's pic for the subs **** he was like u know what you don't know anything i was like ok...w/e u say then got my friend came back he tried doing same thing to him as he did to me he said the same shit and he started saying how i was right to the best buy guy and he was like u want to hear a real system so he parked right by the best buy door one 15Massive sub and the guy just didn't even say anything but look on his face priceless lol. circuit city just gets worse haha.
Yea you know what I like as a 19 year old college student that works at Circuit City part time? To start how about the fact I can punctuate and use correct grammar so people can make out what im trying to say. How about the fact that i make almost 13 dollars an hour to do a fairly easy job, get whatever hours I want, and get good discounts and accomodation programs. Another thing I personally enjoy is when people that think they know everything and anything about car audio, come in and try and talk over my head about shit that I do know more about than them about. I would say that about 80% of our business is from remote starts/security, portable GPS, and Satellite radio(yes i know this will vary, but generally this is probably true). So what sense would it make for Circuit City or Best Buy to carry alot of higher end equipment, when the majority of our customers dont want any car stereo equipment, let alone very high end stuff. I get it all the time, people come in and say I want an entire system, I dont want to spend more than $1000. You and I both know you will have a hard time getting a complete system for a grand. And if someone does come in and is looking for high end stuff, ill show them what I have available but im not going to lie or push a sale if I dont think they will be happy with it. All that does is increase your returned sales. I am more than happy to recommend something else to a customer, even if we dont carry it and ill let em know where they can get it at. Im not on commision what the hell do I care. And the thing about people coming in and jacking with amp settings is really stupid. Its a huge pain in the *** when someone wants to hear something and you have to dick around with settings while there standing there waiting. I mean that would be like me coming into your place of business taking a giant shit on the floor. And yes I know there are some kids that work at CC and BB that dont know as much as everyone here, but when you say "circuit city and best buy fuk ups lol" I do take that personally. Where do you work by the way, I would be more than happy to belittle you and pick your job apart.

(The Items in Red are what I found doing a quick visual audit of your grammatically and punctually correct comments.)

Spell/Grammar Check FTW????

And what school are you attending? (p.s...those are fragments.)

lol did you personally have a hard time reading it, because the post I highlighted I actually did have a hard time reading. Sorry for the errors though, I will make sure to be more grammatically correct. I didnt want to get too in depth, and had 3 finals today. And I know what a fragment is, I just didn't think posts had to be in MLA format. They should be somewhat legible though.

Im attending U of I. Why where do you go and what does it matter?????????

nope... I am capable of discerning most internet speak. However, I did that because of your comment about, "being grammatically and punctually correct."

Alas, I wish I could go back to school. Being a single mother of three prevents that possibility at this time.

EDIT... aha! Ninja Edit Master is showing his frustration with being corrected! LOL! If you are going to state that you are grammatically and punctually correct... then do it! Otherwise, don't try and hold that over another poster's comment. Oh, and I figured since you were so cocky about your perfection, you may want to go see the English proffessor at your university...that's all.

Lol I am the complete opposite of cocky if you knew me. I dont want to argue about grammar, but I think if you are going to call someone a "fuk up" then you should be prepared to here a defense on their part. And since i work at Circuit City I did take that comment personally, and I never said anything about being perfect, but since everyone in this thread is bashing on CC and BB(do you know what that means or should I spell it out) employees I needed to speak on their part, or at least in my defense.

And the only thing I edited was where I went to school since you seemed very eager to know.

EDIT: proffessor is spelled with 1 f. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

heehee... it just keeps getting better!

This is the internet sparky...lots of opinions and criticism... that's just how it is...don't show your age and go flying off the handle because someone replied negatively to a comment you made.

"To start, how about the fact I can punctuate and use correct grammar so people can make out what im (I'm) trying to say."

I am happy for you that you have so much pride in your company..that's a good work ethic, continue that and you will go far. Best Buy and Circuit City are for the average consumer, the gentlemen in here are far beyond the knowledge and capacity of Best Buy to install a simple system. There is just a LOT more experience. It's great you care enough about your employ to want to know and learn more... I am sure a lot of the pro's in here started out sweeping showroom floors and wiring up simple deck and 4's -- (yeppers...on topic)

Instead of getting mad and defensive, why not take that entrepreneurial spirit of yours and spear-head a company program to better educate the salesmen that are giving your company a bad name in the world of car audio?

just a thought.

(nice catch on professor)

The answer is still NO BMX //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I'd say u start a thread about dumbas$es who come into either the BB or CC that u work at and try to pretend how smart they are. It might be funny if u actually catch a few forum members //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

That is a good idea buuut, there are I think 600+ CC stores in the US it would be impossible to fill all those spots with people that were 100% qualified for the job. And to be honestly the post isnt about CC, car audio, etc its about the fact someone made a post about a group of individuals that im a part of. If he were to pick out a particular experience like the original poster did, I would have never commented(hence why this comment is so far back in the thread). To be honest this will more than likely be my last year with the company. Currently I work for an engineering company that does alot of work with caterpillar. There I analyze mylar blueprints before they are shipped out. Boring work but it pays well. And the past two summers I have interned with Morgan Stanley, where I have already been promised a job when im done with school if I want it. And yes I am young, probably why your grammar is better than mine right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif jkjkjk , but i really wasnt trying to sound pissy with you. Like i said my finals started at 7am this morning and was studying since 3am last night so that might be why im giving off a bad vibe, but i really did not mean to send anything negative your way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Edited just for you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

saj21187...

1.) Stick with engineering, your grammar isn't as good as you think.

2.) These people here aren't personally attacking you. Also, I'm sure most of them have a valid reason for making a mockery of CC/BB employees. Try not to take offense to it.

3.) The few that come in and FIX the gain settings are doing you a favor.

4.) We don't care how big your e-penis is.

5.) Best Buy "installers" messed up my sisters old Jeep when attempting to install a remote keyless entry system. Also, they failed to hook up some speakers in my brother's car correctly. Basically, all of my experiences with Best Buy car audio installers has been weak. All but one of them knew what they were doing. However, I'm sure there are some exceptions.

1) Im not going into engineering, and said nothing about being an English major either. Just had a hard time reading the post I highlighted.

2) While he didnt attack me personally he made a general statement about CC employees being **** ups, and i am one of them and far from a **** up.

3) No one said anything about fixing the gains, they said they come in to turn everything all the way up. How is that fixing the setting on an amp. I know how to set an amp just fine. Do you work in sales. Do you work at all? Cause if you do im sure you wouldnt appreciate someone making your job harder just for the hell of it..

4) I did not mention I was better than anyone at anything accept grammar. And if you compare my posts with the highlighted one mine has much better grammar. Like i said earlier I know its not MLA format, but im not an english major. I just defended myself to the highlighted post and it had nothing to do with grammar, but if someone is calling someone(or a group of people) a **** up, they should sound somewhat intelligent when they do it and type legibly.

5) I do not work at Best Buy.
