Best budget head unit?

I have a x592, and I absoltely love it, and wouldnt trade it, despite it being a lower priced deck. My previous deck before that was an 880prs, and i like this deck much better. It does not have much eq functions, just basic bass and treble, but its solid. It has sounded the best out of all the decks ive owned, and I love the usb interface. I never use cds period anymore. Also you wont get alt whine like you do with pioneer decks. Overall, one of the, if not the best money ive spent on audio. 24bit DAC's is always nice aswell..
x-592 is a nice deck. I had the x-492 and loved it! I also had the 880 before it and liked the Kenwood better, lol!

Maybe if I was a little better at tunning, I would like the 880 more, I don't know.

if she has monson system she can hook ipod to the factory HU have to buy an adapter that will take over CD changer if she has one. can tap into speaker wires with a line convertor by the monsoon amp to rca cables for a small sub amp and sub that would be cheapest way to go. have her look at http://www.vwvortex.com car audio forums for a DIY on it
