looking to upgrade my crappy factory system with new 6.5 comps up front and coax's in the rear. After searching here..I'll probably get the PG rsd comps. Don't know what coax's to get yet.

Now I need a decent 4ch amp. Whats the best bang for the buck?

Thanks!

why dont u run the coaxials off of the HU and get a 2 channel for the mids and highs i have an eD NINe.2X i will let go for $175 shipped it will do 2 x 200 wRMS @ 12.5 volts will make those componets happy... comes with a warranty and it comes with a the original packaging Let me know if ya want it via PM i can get pics ect.

Will the HU be good enough to run the coax's? or will they sound much better off a amp? Or will I even notice the difference as long as I run good power to the comps up front. I don't plane on getting a sub either.

Just trying to figure out the best setup and power needed before I make any decisions.

Thanks

Nice! I was thinking I was gonna have to spend at least $150, but if that walmart amp sounds just as good, it's a no brainer.

I have been running the Phoenix Gold Octane line for a few years now. I think they are great amps for the price. I have used the R5.0:4, the R8:0.1, and R8:04. Right now I am using the R.8:04 to power my boston pro 60s. Sounds great. They are pretty cheap too.

You might find them cheaper then that, but that was the first one I found.

honestly as much as I would like to sell mine if I were in the situation I would do the same exact thing. JBL will be pretty good, and good power to boot specially for that price.

Thanks for all the input guys..so here are my choices:

Above mentioned JBL 75.4 $125+shipping.

The profile amp is the most tempting for the price, but I don't know how much sound quality I would sacrifice.

Blaupunkt tha series or Panasonic... both will do around 120 watts RMS per channel for around $100, good built-in xovers. The Profile amps are good, but some are overrated, depends on what model you look at.
