Treo ssx1500.1 v.s. Kicker zx1500.1

I need opinions on those amps..

I got an offer for Treo.. I m unsure if I want that or not.. I have been wanting a zx1500.1 or 2500.1 because I heard they are efficient amps..

I am going to run an amp on one battery, big 3, and a HO alternator in my explorer..

After using the search thread, I found some threads about them and a few of people said Treo draws a lot of current so I m wondering if any one of you had an experience on this amp and could chime in and verify if this is true or not..

I am torn on which I should take the offer or not.. What is your opinion? Should I keep my original plan of getting a Kicker or just take this amp?

I am going to run it at 2 ohms.. powering my 2 10" Fi BL's..

Any input or opinions would be appreciated..

not a big fan of brands you can buy at CC or BB.

the treo amps are awsome tho

No question that the Treo is an awesome amp.. I never have experienced in owning one before but based on what ppl said, they r great..

But like I said, will it just be fine on my electrical set up?

what power are u looking for? isnt the treo 3000 at 1ohm? and kicker 1500 at 2ohm?

I cant speak on the treo personally because I never heard them, but word is that treos are pretty decent. As far as the ZX series, them some bad joints, and they are efficient amps. I've never had a problem with one.

Enellz- Yeah that s why I originally went for zx1500.1 because I heard that they re efficient amps so thats what I want.. But this Treo amp is very tempting..

I like the looks of Treo a lot lol cuz it is all black which is sexy!

I just sold my Treo 1500.1. Great amp. very powerful and **** sexy. As far as efficiency though I believe the kicker is going to be more efficient. Not that the treo is that much of a hog but Kickers are known to be very efficient amps. Also, The subsonic is variable at an 18db slope on the Treo but the Kicker is fixed at 25hz with a 12db slope. Not sure if that would matter to you or not just a fyi.

I think I want this amp after all.. Just want to be 100% sure so I am waiting out for a day or two so I can be positive that this amp is the one for my system..

id go with the treo, although i dont think you could go wrong with either, its just that the fact that the treo can run at lower impedences vs the kicker if you ever need to change things up later on. JMO, both are great though.
