CA amps compared to Max amps are 2 totally different things. that deka would have more capacity for being used for loads on demand than that d680. powermaster also only recomends the 680 up to 1000 watts...the deka would do alot more and wouldnt even be close. Its kind of hard to put Cranking amp specs and pulse specs up into a general audio use format as many of those specs are timed for up to 30 seconds down to 7.2V with no care in the world for how long the battery stays at a voltage usefull to an amplifier (meaning the voltage is too low to make the amp work or work without damage). Funny thing about your rant also is PM used to rate their 12v line with BCI specs now they do it with MAX amps and AH a lot like Kinetik. Also Kinetik has been around a while and people have/still use and like their stuff and believe it or not still win with it....
