Here's the thing - they're trying to sell you something. And you're trusting the salesman's claims over basic physics. That's exactly what they want you to do.
These are the same ppl that said you needed a cap. C'mon, use your head.
The flaming was fun but I'm not trying to single you out - most ppl would agree with you before me. But the audio industry depends on those trends, hype & marketing BS as well as misinformation as much as any.
I could tell you things about the R & D side of the biz that would pop your cherry hard, like getting dry humped by a 300# German named Gunther. I won't do that to you.
Ask yourself if there will be any audible difference from what you're investing your money in. If not, you're buying bling. Nothing wrong with that, just be eyes-open about it.
