Copper still carries the current. You're claiming that by putting silver between the copper & the terminal that there's some significant gain. It doesn't add up. If anything it adds resistance.

Then why would every wire manufacturer use it in their high-end wiring? Somehow I think the engineers at those companies know more about it than you do.

what about my alternator? im gonna be running 2 12' inch subs at 700 rms each 1 hooked up to 1 ohm from a crossfire vr1000d but i heard its effiency is like 86% or something like that.

Meh, do the big3 upgrade and you'll be fine. No need for an alty upgrade with that little wattage on hand.

I think all you have to do is find the stock power and gound wires for the battery and alternator, and add an extra run to each one. Basically just double up the existing wires.

It helps a good amount with corrosion occuring on the bare copper.

cool thing about stinger is that they have my battery terminal, since my truck is GM (GMC Sierra) the terminal has to be custom made for the truck lol. Found out when I installed my first system.

$3 at Autozone, not custom made

Coming from someone in marketing themselves, that comment isn't surprising. Companies like Stinger have a reputation to uphold. They go with what works, then slap on the pretty stuff to keep it from sitting on the shelves. And for a company like Knu, they aren't really that well known outside car audio enthusiasts. They can't afford to put their faith in gimmicks because their customers aren't as easily persuaded as the average Joe. But, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Is the best hands down IMO. The price went down from the last time I bought one of those. It was ~105 shipped and now it's only $90 shipped - a good deal!

Silver-tinned copper is a better conductor than copper alone.

........and that would be Kicker, which is as close to the best as anyone needs.
