careful, they like to give instore credit instead of refunds bro. The SoundQubed 1200 is a bit outside of your range and power requirements, but its a pretty awesome amp for the buck. If you get your money back, id strongly consider that route. Pretty hefty and reliable amps. That being said, i still havent heard anough bad stuff about the CAB 1600 to make me say its a bad choice either
I will get my money back, mark my words. I purchased a replacement *new* NVX amp from Sonic, it's on its way here already, so they are getting some of my money either way. It ended up being only $5 more because of a $15 discount code Sonic had going for it.
i cant disagree with you here. Headroom is always nice, similar to driving a Bugatti Veyron around at 40 mph with full knowledge that a tip of your toe can get you to 150 in a few seconds
