Best amp for Sundown E-10 v3, 500W RMS sub $200

Is the b-stock used? refurbished? Why so cheap? You're probably right about the SA wanting more power. I've heard it's underrated power-wise. This amp will should stay nice and cool powering an E-10 since it has an extra 280w of headroom.
Edit: nevermind. CAB's site says its due to cosmetic blemishes. I could care less about that. $87 is a steal.
yeah everyone says may have extra glue or something,, guy here ordered older model 15's they send wrong vc and 1 newer 1 they refunded his $ and gave him set of new model free., pretty good site..

It doesn't even really have a ton headroom because the e series will handle 750w no problem. And to be truthful there are a lot of factors that will make it where you actually getting a little less wattage from the amp. Things like box rise and most likely a little less voltage than the amp was rated at. I would pair the e series up with a 750w amp, and I would pair an sa with a 1000-12000w amp. That being said, there is nothing wrong with running an sa on a bit lower than rated power. It will still sound great and maybe a bit better than the e series. But they are both good great subs.
That site is b-stock. I've actually used them a few times and it's hard to tell what is b-stock about the subs. The last pair of e-8s I bought had some excess surround glue, but I had to take the mounting gasket off to even notice. There are no performance issues just slight cosmetic things that are usually not noticeable
You're right about the sub-amp pairing... E-10 on a 750w rated amp should be perfect. I just ordered the E-10 from CAB's site. $87 shipped. With a box and wiring I'll barely be pushing $300. I'd call that a hell of a deal.

I love that site... their wire is ...well... no comment... I'll digress... but I've managed to get close to 150 db on a $796 sub/amp combo using 2 12's... granted... there IS a few more things I've done but I'm a convert from Hi-end anymore... I spent a ton back in the day...(1997)... but for the $$$ I've spent I could not be happier... I'm closing on 150 db and that's in an experimental box at this point... once I get my box/power worked out I'll be a smiling fool!.. anyways... I'd try to go bigger as far as the amp is concerned right along the lines you are considering... I'ts like money in the bank and it sounds like you aren't a NEW guy... setting those gains should be NO problem...

Use the xplicit car audio app for box building numbers
That's a pretty sweet app. I put in my specs and it came up with essentially the same Hz and other figures that I calculated on my own using JL Audio's formula. I'll be sitting at 1 cu.ft. net @ 32 hz, which matches up exactly with Sundown's recommendation. Happy to share the measurements.
