Best amp for Sundown E-10 v3, 500W RMS sub $200

Longtime lurker here. I'm finally putting a single Sundown E-10 v3 in a ported box (1 cu. ft. net, 32 Hz). The E-10 is rated for 500w RMS. Looking for an amp recommendation. I'll probably get the D4 and run at 2 ohms, and would like to stay at or under $200. Thanks guys.

Edit: would like to stay away from anything Chinese made.

If I needed 500-600 @2ohm then I would go with this fosgate. Chinese isn't always bad, especially for these small footprint low power 0-1500w range. The quality of the brand is what matters.

If you Re dead set on Korean you can up your budget to about $250 and come out with a pretty good Korean 1200w that will give you some good power at the 600w range. I would look at the sound cubed or twisted sounds on ssa

Thanks for the reply. What about getting the D2 sub and running it at 1ohm? It would make a Korean board more attainable price wise. Although I've never been a fan of 1 ohm due to heat and power draw. The amp will probably be covered up by interior panels, so I'd would like it to run as cool as possible. I'll check out SQ and Twisted on SSA.

everyone knows i'm gonna say it so i don't want to disappoint., u can get ppi p1k like mine get d2 sub wire to 4 ohm my amp tested at 691 @4ohm u can run at 2 ohm 930rms set gain low no bass boost on amp or hu,, ppi is $168 from decent sellers.. i'll get u links to other amps..

Well if you go 1ohm you could get a twisted sounds 600 or the crescendo s600 for 200 and they are both great. The crescendo is a Chinese board but they are great amps.

I would honestly look to spend maybe 230ish and get the twisted sounds 1.3 or the sq1200 because it gives you room to grow and the price isn't much more but you have the potential to double your power if you decide to add a sub, or go with a different sub one day.

Twisted has their new TS1KW v2 amp that is about to come out. 500 rms @ 2 ohms. Retails on their site for $220, so can probably be had for less. Nice small package too.

even if u don't wanta add sub later the ppi runs cool (especially at 4-2ohm gain low) and it's cheaper, 1 guy here will have 4 in his big system soon many others use the 2 and 4 channel versions for mids 1 guy has 4 2 channels. but i'll keep looking for orion xtrs and see if i can find anything else., look at rf 750.1 peeps love those

You won't have to worry about heat or efficiency wit that set up as long as you set your gains right. It's a good amp, that would be my choice on your budget or the crescendo. I have the s1500.1 from crescendo and it's tiny. I run it at 1ohm on some stock electrical and it is a powerhouse and says cool. So the crescendo 600 is a great choice too.
