Best amp for Sundown E-10 v3, 500W RMS sub $200

After sleeping on it, I think I'm over thinking this. For my setup I don't need to shell out north of $200 for a fancy Korean made amp. It's just not worth it for my setup. I'll probably run the Fosgate Prime that puts out 500w RMS @ 2 ohms for $123. No interest in used gear. Seems like a tried-and-true amp, and it comes with a bass control knob.

Longtime lurker here. I'm finally putting a single Sundown E-10 v3 in a ported box (1 cu. ft. net, 32 Hz). The E-10 is rated for 500w RMS. Looking for an amp recommendation. I'll probably get the D4 and run at 2 ohms, and would like to stay at or under $200. Thanks guys.
Edit: would like to stay away from anything Chinese made.
hey get this get this it's been tested over 750rms $129 https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_129791_NVX-BDA7501-Open-Box-Complete.html

This is actually a good choice because the latest version of the series can easily handle the extra wattage. Just make sure to get the correct coil configuration for whichever amp you decide on. You will be fine either way, but having a little extra power on-hand is never a bad thing
the last statement i couldt agree with more. Headroom is never a bad thing, pushing an amp to its ragged edge, is a bad thing

Watch your impedance for amp/sub.... bad things CAN happen...

That's actually a good call. Now I'm tempted to step up to the SA-10... you guys are killing me! Thanks for the link.

Edit: ORDERED! Thanks y'all. Now to step up to the SA-10 or stay with the E-10... SA-10 is rated @ 750w RMS.

The sa is a great sub! I like the e series pretty good too, especially for the price. I've done quite a few set ups with the e's for friends. My brother has a pair of sa 10s and they are awesome. We are actually only running one in his car right now on 1000rms and it's awesome. You won't regret the sa series

honestly the sa would want more power and i have seen reviews that said they 1/2 db more out of a e same power same box., no doubt sa is better but if get the E at car audio bargain bstock $87 new sub everyone buys them, if it sounds great it should and u want sa later sell it and amp to friend that heard it and liked it (u maynot even loose any $) and upgrade to sa 12 and 1200 rms amp maybe, u may like it as is..

Is the b-stock used? refurbished? Why so cheap? You're probably right about the SA wanting more power. I've heard it's underrated power-wise. This amp will should stay nice and cool powering an E-10 since it has an extra 280w of headroom.

Edit: nevermind. CAB's site says its due to cosmetic blemishes. I could care less about that. $87 is a steal.

pretty hard to beat except they are dual 2 ohm

It doesn't even really have a ton headroom because the e series will handle 750w no problem. And to be truthful there are a lot of factors that will make it where you actually getting a little less wattage from the amp. Things like box rise and most likely a little less voltage than the amp was rated at. I would pair the e series up with a 750w amp, and I would pair an sa with a 1000-12000w amp. That being said, there is nothing wrong with running an sa on a bit lower than rated power. It will still sound great and maybe a bit better than the e series. But they are both good great subs.

That site is b-stock. I've actually used them a few times and it's hard to tell what is b-stock about the subs. The last pair of e-8s I bought had some excess surround glue, but I had to take the mounting gasket off to even notice. There are no performance issues just slight cosmetic things that are usually not noticeable
