he should be able to maintain 1k - 1.5k on stock electrical, with big 3 and 1 extra batt in trunk/hatch or where ever.

You might, if you do just back it down some until you can get one, you might not even notice the lack of power since the higher voltage will make up for it. The Diamond is a step up.

So I just bought the 1200w Diamond amp!

Now... Can anyone here suggest a reliable enclosure maker? Thinking 32/33hz ported
