And if im not mistaking..the Kicker 2.5K is not 1 ohm stable? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Its not officially, but it's been ran at 1ohm daily. If ur spending so much money and gettin so much power I really hope ur electrical can handle it. Worse thing would be u amp fries cause u can't keep the voltages high enough

A Digital Designs M2 sells for $699 they are under rated like all DD amps....DD rates it at 1700@1 ohm....So it should do at least 2000 That is a very clean and efficient amp and affordably priced //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It is strappable also //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Amp fries? doesnt the "NOMAD - Advanced short circut and power protection" make it where that doesnt happen? Oh, and I got a 6.0 Farad Capacitor for it...that should help, right.... i hope.

lol. No I dont think a 6.0 Farad Capacitor will help. And yes, it does protect it for a while. If u keep sending the amplifier into protection it will eventually break.

You're not going to get yelled at for the Cap post, but you're going to get a few smartass comments.

If you want to do it right, you need an upgraded alternator and a solid battery upgrade, maybe one in the back as well.

Theres more money to it than you know about, probably.

And that Fosgate Power is one hell of an amp, by the way. But there are other very high quality amps that can be had for that.

What vehicle, what subs?
