Best amp for 1 sundown audio SA 12?

It only matters if you want your bass to blend in with the other aspects of the music, like mids and highs lol. Most kids your age don't put a lot of thought in to anything other than their bass stage and there isnt anything wrong with that. I am just now getting old enough to care, I've had blown door speakers for years haha. I won some JL components at a show, and I am about to put them in and enjoy the music as soon as I get a decent amp for them.

sorry I thought you were younger.

well, you definitely could, but why get a 1,500w amp and a sub that can take that kind of power in a ported box if you are just going to turn it all the way down. You might as well just get a 6.5" or 8" sub in a sealed box on about 300 watts and save yourself a whole lot of money and hassle. Honestly, my sundown 6.5 in my wifes car in a ported box is turned almost all the way down as to not overpower the stock speakers lol. You will definitely be overpowering the stock speakers on 1kw, by a long shot!
