Best 2ohms 10" subs for this box?

Vibrations and rattles will mask the "true" sound of the music and ruin the fun. A well executed ported subwoofer setup will sound wonderful and get reasonably loud at the same time. However, if the car is talking as it gets excited by the sound pressure that matter must be addressed. I went through this myself and ended up mostly sealing off the trunk from the cabin and the ported subwoofer is now facing the front of the vehicle, located directly behind the rear seats. This approach is not always an option.
Exactly what it did. He just keeps the bass turned down, he only cranked it up to show me. The car is an 06 Chevy Malibu. Not sure that matters.

Off topic, 10's vs 12's first I heard 12's hit harder better for hip hop, but 10's are faster more for EDM. I've read several old threads, with people saying that isn't true, 12's just as fast. Any truth to that?

yeah that was the thought like 15 yrs ago 10's hit harder peeps would say but most of the time 10 and 12's have basically same motor 12's just have bigger cone.. 12's can play deeper and have more cone area thats y i've used them most of the past 20 yrs..

I went by a shop who build custom boxes. They did some measurements and best they can do without covering my spare tire is 2 cubic feet total. That's no much more than what I have. One of the guys who worked there, let me hear his JL 10's in his civic. They insisted that it sound better than mine, but I honestly heard little to no difference.

Off topic.

I'm having some trouble with my TV subwoofer. It's only when I'm watching blue ray. It's like a random knock or thump sound, every two minutes of so. I sent it to best buy for repair, they said they changed the board, but I'm still getting that sound. To be honest, I don't believe they heard the sound or found anything wrong. Any ideas?
