I would say the SQ of the N1 is comparable to the Fi Q.

Seeing that a version of the BTL is being used by a high end home audio brand apparently, I would say it is worth something.

I have 2600+ legit watts rms and I plan to use every bit of it, I just figured 1000 watt subs aren't gonna meet my demands, and a 1500 watt sub with a small enough motor would do nicely

IF your talking overall abuse there's lots of subs your over looking. DD's and aqs in the right box will be so loud sound quality isn't gonna be heard. Sundowns honestly the only ones I heard were not sq at all. DC lvl4s were not close to handling the abuse of the dds and durability is far that of many others thats why people are selling d motored dds on this forum. Mtx 9500s will take a *** whooping never heard ssa subs I heard Ia wardens but couldn't tell you durability. T3 t2000s or tsns subs will take lots of abuse if tuned right sound great and loud as f###. The best sounding subs I owned were tcs the re xxx is a disappointment.

I have four 12 inch FI Q subs and I really like them. They sound very good and they can handle a ton of power.

Stick with a woofer with a 3" coil. I wouldnt go to anything 1500RMS rating in general as theyll start to have a decently stiff suspension (again.. in general) but will take it for years and may cover a bit of user error along the way.

You havnt told us much about what youre trying to do really.. Which is more important, being loud or sounding good? Is the full range required, or are you one of those "I just want the lows 25-40hz" type of guys? What vehicle is it (any special build requirements such as a blowthrough)? and so on..

More information is needed before we can wisely inform you on how to spend your money.
