You are confused. 105db is the deck's rated signal-to-noise ratio, meaning how clean a signal it outputs (speaking very basic here). What I was talking about was the strength of the output signal (RCA outputs), which would be a spec rated in volts. Probably somewhere between 2 and 8 volts.haha ya i look back at the post now i see what u sayin, thats now what i meant, i know the gain is a constant power. sorry for the mis-wordingWhat i meant is i don't turn my gain knob on my amp up like most people do.
but na i have a Alpine head unit running 105 Db signal so i keep my gain as low as possible really.
its the Alpine CDA-9885, one of their best from what ive seen.
I spent a few mins trying to find out your deck's output voltage, but I was unsuccessful. Just google it, or possibly reference your manual.
